BAKED HONEY MUSTARD CHICKEN

Baked honey chicken with mustard - a classic combination of honey and mustard strangled tender chicken breasts and baked to juicy perfection. Wonderful, baked chicken dinner, which is really easy to cook and healthy!

The classic combination of honey and mustard strangled tender chicken breasts and was baked to juicy perfection.

Ingredients

4 (4 ounces each) chicken breasts skinless and boneless
1 teaspoon (or to taste) seasoning mixture
1-1 / 2 tablespoons of olive oil, divided
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
1/8 teaspoon paprika
4 sprigs of fresh rosemary, optional, but recommended

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 ° F.
  2. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish with a spray and set aside.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan.
  4. Season the chicken breasts throughout with a mixture of chicken seasonings and add the chicken breasts to a skillet; cook for 2 minutes on each side or until brown.
  5. In the meantime, prepare honey mustard sauce.
  6. Combine 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil, honey, mustard, white vinegar and paprika in a small bowl; whisk until well mixed.
  7. Transfer the chicken breasts from the pan to a pre-cooked baking dish.
  8. Pour the cooked honey mustard sauce onto the chicken breasts, turning the chicken over to completely cover each chicken breast.
  9. Put sprigs of rosemary between the chicken breasts.
  10. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  11. Remove the lid and continue baking for another 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked. Cooking time varies with chicken size / thickness.
  12. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes.
  13. Service.
