Creamy Crockpot Crack Chicken

Creamy Crockpot Crack Chicken

About a year ago, I discovered a wonderful failure at a party called Crack Dip. One bowl has cream cheese, a ranch mix, cheddar cheese, green onions and bacon, and it's so insanely good that you can dip almost everything into it and it will taste great. Seriously, I would eat a table leg with this stuff.

Therefore, when I heard that you can get the same flavor in a chicken dish and cook a whole meal out of it, you can bet that my ears were pricked. And when I found out that you can do it at Crockpot, naturally, I was completely sold.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 1 8 oz block cream cheese
  • 1 pkt ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2-3/4 cup cooked crumbled bacon depending on how much you like bacon
  • 4 green onions sliced
  • Buns

Instructions

  1. In crockpot add your chicken, sprinkle with ranch and then place cream cheese on top.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
  3. Remove lid and shred chicken and stirring in the cream cheese.
  4. Add your cheddar cheese, bacon and green onions and give it a stir to combine.
  5. Serve on buns, croissants, tortillas, etc.
