GARLIC BUTTER SHRIMP SCAMPI
Shrimp with garlic shrimp oil so fast and easy! garlic cream sauce with garlic sauce with a touch of white wine and lemon in less than 10 minutes!
Shrimp with garlic and shrimp can be served as a snack / light snack OR for dinner with your favorite pasta of your choice! You can also keep it low in carbohydrates and serve it with noodles from zucchini or with steam cauliflower! In any case, it is tasty and even better than the Italian restaurant Scampi!
INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons of olive oil
4 tablespoons of oil
4-5 large cloves of minced garlic (or 1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic)
1 1/4 lb (600 grams) large tail shrimp shrimp
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
1/4 cup dry white wine or broth
1/2 teaspoon chopped red pepper or to taste (optional)
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped parsley
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large pot or pan. Add garlic and fry until fragrant (about 30 seconds - 1 minute). Then add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper to taste and fry for 1-2 minutes on one side (until it turns pink), then turn over.
- Pour in the wine (or broth), add red pepper flakes (if used). Bring to a boil for 1-2 minutes or until the wine is about half full and the shrimp is not cooked to the end (do not digest your shrimp).
- Add the remaining oil, lemon juice and parsley and immediately remove the heat.
- Serve with rice, pasta, garlic bread or stewed vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini noodles).
