GARLIC PARMESAN CRUSTED SALMON
Garlic Salmon with Parmesan - quick and easy salmon with crispy garlic oil. Parmesan casserole can be baked in the oven or deep fryer. This salmon is fragrant, flaky, buttery and delicious!
This is my favorite salmon recipe, right next to my teriyaki baked salmon. Served with fried or fried vegetables, which makes simple, wholesome and delicious food!
Ingredients
1 pound of salmon i used atlantic salmon
1/4 black pepper
1/4 cup plain cracker
1/4 cup grated parmesan
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Melt 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 teaspoons minced garlic
Instructions
- Start by preheating the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil (spray the sprinkler to prevent sticking). When baking in a deep fryer, spray the basket with the sprayer.
- Lay the salmon on the prepared pan with the skin down. Dry with a paper towel.
- In a medium bowl, combine the breadcrumbs (or Panko), Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Melt butter in another bowl. Add garlic and mix. Add crumbs to the mixture. Stir well.
- Season the salmon with black pepper (salt is not needed, as the parmesan is already quite salty). Separate the crust mixture evenly on top of each piece of salmon, gently pressing on the fish.
- Roasting in the oven: bake salmon for 12-15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches at least 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Deep fat roasting: set the temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, let it warm up for 4 minutes. Put the salmon with the crust skin down in the basket and bake. Check the internal temperature to make sure the fish is ready. If you also fry a vegetable side dish in a deep fat fryer, you can add salmon for cooking in the same basket in the last 10 minutes. Thus, everything will be done at the same time!
- Serve immediately with vegetable side dishes.
