PULLED PORK PASTRY PUFFS
These pork puff pastries are a favorite in our home. They are great for lunch, dinner or parties. You can cook them in advance and freeze until ready to serve. I am preparing a game this weekend to have the Super Bowl next weekend. LOVE is easy to make forward recipes, like this one !!

In this recipe I used a bag of smoked Costco pork. This is my favorite store of stock dried pork. This is at the back of my Costco with other pre-cooked meats and soups. It comes in two one-pound packages. I always have a pack in the freezer for a quick meal.
With just 4 simple ingredients, you can’t go wrong with these rich pastries. They are always a hit! Serve some extra barbecue sauce on the side or even a ranch dressing would be nice. I mean, what's wrong with the Ranch?
INGREDIENTS:
1 (17.3 oz.) Bag of puff pastry, thawed
3/4 pound pulled pork
3/4 cup barbecue sauce
1-1 / 4 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 egg whipped
1 tablespoon of water
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 400ºF. A line of baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
- Expand pastry sheets. Cut each sheet into 9 squares.
- Throw the stewed pork with barbecue sauce. Place the pork and cheese in the center of the pastry squares.
- Fold the two opposite corners of each square above the fill and press the edges to seal. Put on prepared pan.
- Mix the egg and water. Grease each cookie with an egg.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.
