SPICY SHRIMP TACOS WITH CABBAGE CILANTRO SLAW

If you have tacos on your mind, then these spicy shrimp tacos will become regular on your menu and served with cabbage with cilantro, a light sweet and sour sauce.

All the flavor combinations of spicy shrimp, cabbage and sauce are so amazing that you will have seconds, and a third - too.

I love the different varieties of cabbage. I shared some ideas for sauce and sauce in Bang Bang Shrimp Taco, Baja Fish Taco, Crispy Chicken Taco.

Shrimp marinade: it is very simple, just mix the marinade spices and apply on the shrimp and leave aside for a few minutes.

Cabbage: This is the easiest and best sauce you can make for tacos.

Sweet sour cream: just mix a few basic ingredients and enjoy this amazing taco sauce.

Ingredients

For spicy shrimp:

20 medium shrimp, peeled, designed
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp cayenne red pepper powder
1 teaspoon lime juice
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

For Cabbage Cilantro Slaw:

1 cup grated cabbage
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
a pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/4 tsp red chili peppers
1 tablespoon of honey

For taco sauce:

1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon honey mustard
1 tablespoon Greek yogurt / sour cream
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon Frank red hot sauce
a pinch of salt

Additionally:

4, 6-inch mission soft taco flour tortillas / corn tortilla
chopped cilantro for a side dish
lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. To make taco sauce, mix mayonnaise, honey, mustard, sour cream and Frank's hot sauce. Keep away.
  2. To cook the shrimp, first peel and spread the shrimp, wash and dry them.
  3. Put shrimp taco marinade on the shrimp, rub the shrimp well to pickle the shrimp. Keep away for 10 minutes.
  4. To prepare cabbage, add chopped cabbage, cilantro, thinly chopped onions, black pepper powder, honey, red chili powder and lime juice to the bowl, mix well.
  5. Heat the pan, add some oil to the pan, and the pan heats up.
  6. Put the shrimps in one layer in a pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, turn them over to cook.
  7. Once they are pink and well cooked, keep them aside.
  8. Preheat the tortillas, add the shank, shrimp, taco sauce, chopped cilantro to each tortilla and serve immediately

Recipe Notes:

  • Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes, or if you still feel that you need a little more solid shrimp, there may be a minute more, but do not digest, as they will chew.
  • Serve the shrimp right away, as it tastes best after cooking. So be prepared before grilling shrimp.
  • The left will start to come out of the juices, so mix the next when you are going to fill the tacos.
  • To make the taco sauce more spicy or sweet, adjust the amount of hot sauce and honey accordingly.
